All programs are aired without charge.  WYRS support comes primarily from listeners.  Donations are tax-deductible.

Faithful contributions and prayers have facilitated our survival and continued growth.  Our WYRS staff is entirely volunteer.

Non-commercial, educational station (WYRS 90.7 FM Manahawkin) commenced a limited broadcast day (in mono) at 4 pm on Monday March 27th 1995.  Over the years, a 24/7 schedule (in stereo) became possible after acquiring automation, satellite, and upgraded studio equipment.  The station’s “Christian Family Community” programming includes teaching, music, and educational issues from local and national sources.

Through God's grace, the site of former Marine Coastal Station WSC was purchased in August 2003.  After extensive repair work, it became our primary transmitter site in July 2007.  The original transmitter location was re-licensed as an auxiliary (backup) site.

Sister station (WLNJ  91.7 Lakehurst) provides city-grade coverage to northern Ocean County and beyond. WYRS Broadcasting can now be heard (N-S) on the Garden State Parkway from Eatontown to Ocean City, and (W) to New Lisbon.

Five translators have added coverage to Pomona, Whiting, Trenton, Stafford Township, and Egg Harbor City.

Our hope and prayer is that programming from WYRS Broadcasting will help equip listeners for a victorious life (on earth) and eternity (in heaven) – through saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We would be honored to correspond with you.  You are encouraged to contact us.
